April is the month of the military child.  More than one million American children have at least one parent serving in active military.  One of those children is my daughter, Aidan.  We’re very lucky that she is such a flexible, easy-going child that has adapted so well to her new life as an “Army Brat.”  Her day care is top notch, our home is safe and our family is able to visit.

“The Month of the Military Child is part of the legacy left by former Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger, who died March 28, 2006. He established the Defense Department commemoration in 1986.”   (from cinchouse.com)

Whether or not you agree with the President or with our being over there…support our troops.
