The day we’ve all been waiting for is here…the official start of college football! WHOOP! Ryan and I are graduates and diehard fans of Texas A&M University. We catch every game we can…which is hard living in the heart of SEC country (ugh, I hate the SEC…the nation’s most overrated conference). The Aggies kickoff the 2007 season on Saturday against Montana State (ok, we’re not earning any BCS strength of schedule points there) at 6pm in Kyle Field, Home of the 12th Man.

We’re pretty pumped about the season kick-off in Robinson County, too…but you’re right, we have a ROUGH schedule this year! All of our hard games are away. But at least we started out with pretty decent ratings (compared to year’s past), and hopefully things will get even better once we win all those tough out-of-town games.

You think the SEC is bad? Try living with a house full of die-hard OU Sooners! As a Georgia Girl, and lover of the SEC, I have to say that Texas A&M is Awesome! We took two of our sons down to visit last year and boy, were we impressed. Our third son (8th grade) has decided that’s where he’s going come Hell or high water. Our oldest son, a senior, was just offered a 4-year ROTC scholarship to A&M yesterday. We’ll be cheering for the Aggies, too, this year!
